Hey there, thought I better share my page for "Sketchy Boards" November challenge before its December ! !
I wasn't feeling hexagons when I created this page....instead I stenciled a few circles in the background.

Next....Papercraft Secrets October sketch challenge
 Image may contain: text
Hexagons again! Sometimes I like them...but not this time, lol! I really love how the hearts look. Do you ever find it hard to photograph white?  I tried a few times taking photos of this page, its a bright white but here it looks grey.

My blog updates are hit and miss lately.....actually most of this year! So many other things to do that have taken priority.
I really appreciate you popping by
Hope you are enjoying lots of crafty time.

Kraft plus

Hello
A new month a new challenge!
'Be inspired by floral art' is the challenge at Kraft Plus
I am really excited to be  a Guest Designer this month, thank you so much for the invitation.
Such a pretty mood board
I just love Australian Native flowers!
I decided to create a wreath....using my cricut to die cut the wreath shape, flowers and gum leaves. It was fun painting the wattle background adding some nuvo drops and a few tiny yellow dollies....oh and sequins!

I look forward to seeing what you create
Happy crafting

#happyheart

How gorgeous is this photo inspo for Kraft Plus October challenge. Well it took me most of the month to figure out what I'd do? Loved the door and shutters!
I finally decided to go with the colour orange and thought there could be Butterflies in the garden.
The paper collection I have used is Kaiser "Havana Nights" I still have quite the collection of tiny doily's, so I have to find a place for them on most of my layouts. Yep, sequins seem to be on most pages too!

Have a great week Everyone

Hello...
Gardening, painting my kitchen all kinds of things have been keeping me out of my craft space. But it was so nice to get back in there and create a few scrap pages.
White with 1 has a great challenge for this month!

I'm still stash busting! Some really old papers here....not quite the colour of the challenge picture though. A little stamping and my cricut to cut SWEET.

Catching up!

Happy Spring....Where has the year gone? Its hard to believe that its September already. And this week we are having summer temps.
Today I have a few pages to share...

No photo description available.
This is a photo of my gorgeous grandson reading Dr Sous
I had fun making a star shaker. I used my cricut to cut the star and draw the title...Oh the places you'll go.

Next.....I played along with another sketch challenge at Paper craft secrets
Image may contain: flower
Here is a close up
I decided to create a single page with the double sketch.
The pretty papers and flowers are Indigo mist collection from Rosie's Studio, except the background which is Kaiser. I used my cricut to cut the heart banner.

Last up is this page for "Kraft plus" The theme for August was Nursery Rhymes. Straight away I knew the photos I was going to use. I started this page a week ago, it was not coming together...I gave up. Then a few days ago I tried again.....ta da!  I'm really happy with how it turned out. The silhouette image is cut from the cricut cartridge Nursery Rhymes.
Here is my son sitting on my daffodils.

Well I think that is me up to date!

Holiday scrapping

Hey Everyone,
Spring is in the air.....I can't wait for the weather to warm up. This past week I have been trying to get holiday photos in a pocket album. I add the odd 12 x 12  as a title page.
I'm playing along with "Lets get Sketchy"
Just after Christmas last year we enjoyed a holiday to Tasmania.
I've used papers from a very old Kaiser collection, some brads too for the center of the crochet flowers. I showed my husband this page..he said I don't remember seeing any deer? We didn't but it looked good with the photos...lol. But we did see lots of wombats!

Hope you are enjoying a crafting week

CHERISH

Hey ...I'm back to share a layout I have created for this months "White with 1 challenge"

I've been wanting to scrap this photo for a while now. Here I am with my dad, years and years ago!
Purple is not a colour I use very often....the only papers I had were from a very old Papermania pad which I must of liked at the time I bought it but I don't anymore! So I decided to cut all the different  paper into strips layering them on my page,  so one design is not over powering. I think it works....and now I like them. LOL
The butterflies are die cut from a water coloured scrapbook that didn't turn out. I'm Stash busting😄
Thankyou for a fun challenge.

Well, life does not seem to be slowing down at all.....hope to find time this weekend to create.

Have a great week everyone

Sketchy Boards challenge

Hello there,
My Blog posts are few and far between right now! I have so much going on , lots of changes....at times its been a real struggle to create. I think I spent a few weeks looking at the sketch below trying to work out what to do. Anyway, finally inspiration came to me...lol
So, here is Sketchy Boards Challenge for August
The background paper is from an old Kaisercraft collection. I have kept the colours all along the same tone so the photo remains the focus of my page. I've die cut lots of doilies.... sprinkled with sequins and gems.
Handmade flowers with crochet doilies and pretty roses.

My plan over the next week is to catch up on visiting you.
Wishing you a great weekend

Its all Good

Hey Everyone,
A few months ago my daughter and I had a wonderful holiday in Hawaii. As you can imagine, I have so many photos! I usually create project life style albums for holidays with the odd 12 x 12 page...like below. Here we are enjoying Margarita's😊
I've used 'Rosies Studio' Lets Get Together collection on the page. The lighting in the restaurant was very red...and so are we....ha ha ha

I'm playing along with 'Lets Get Sketchy' challenge following this sketch
and fabulous mood board.

Happy Hour

Hey Everyone,
Sketchy Boards has a fun sketch and  photo for July's challenge.
No photo description available.
I was inspired by the clock.....and the colour Aqua.  I just noticed the time on the clock - don't they say 'its 5 o'clock somewhere'🍷The title of my page is 'HAPPY HOUR'

Super simple page with fun papers completed for my Hawaii Album.

I also wanted to share a card I made last week. I used my cricut to cut the heart shape card and heart overlay. I added a heart shape brad and buttons.  I just wanted lots and lots of hearts!
This was made for a very special person💗

Enjoy Every day

Lets get Sketchy

Hello and Happy Monday to you!

Today I'm playing along with 'Lets get Sketchy'
What a great sketch! I love doillies......I was so tempted to add them to my page but then thought 'why not mix it up a bit'. At the moment I am really enjoying using cut files on my pages. The idea was to  kind of match the rose in the pattern paper with the die cut. I added vellum to the leaves to create a soft look.
Hand made flowers, doilies and a pin wheel for my little embellishment cluster
Go HERE  if you would like the free flower cut file. There are lots to choose from.
This past week the weather has really cooled down....perfect for spending time in my craft room.

LOVE PINK

Hey Everyone,
Have you seen the fun challenge at "Sketchy Boards" for June?
Pink, Flamingos and a great sketch
Lets start with some close ups.
Recently my daughter and I enjoyed a fabulous holiday in Hawaii......this photo was taken in  Victoria Secret. The store display was so cool, a great photo opportunity I thought!
I googled "Victoria Secret" cut file, not really thinking I'd find anything! Bingo.......Perfect!
I kind of followed the sketch.
Can you see my title font is the same as the font in the photo!
Enjoy your week, Happy Creating

Love Always

Hello and welcome to my blog!
I've have been enjoying playing along with a few challenges lately. The fabulous sketch below is for Kaisercraft . Loving all the flowers, I could not wait to get creating!

I rotated the sketch  anti clockwise to suit a beautiful photo taken on mothers day of my daughter and her son.  The paper collection I have used is Kaiser Indigo Skies.
I only had a few papers in this collection....no ephemera! So I made my own flowers, fussy cut butterflies and used a gorgeous cut file from Paige Evans called 'Flower Bunch" which I have backed in vellum. I still have quite the supply of those gorgeous tiny crochet doilies...most projects I make feature them one way or another. I love the shabbiness of them with the threads hanging loosely.
Is there an embellishment you need to add to your creations for them to feel complete??

Happy Monday to You, hope you enjoy a Crafty week

Adorable

White with 1 has a fabulous colour inspiration and mood board for May.
Its not hard to guess what I was inspired by😊
How cute is this Bear! I found the cut file HERE. This is a photo of my grandson, his name is 'Will'.  For a little extra detail I added some machine stitching and a twine bow. I wanted to keep the page really simple but the bear did not look right just plonked on the page....then I had the idea to stamp some grass for him to sit on and a few flower shaped buttons.
It was a fun page to create!
Thank you for stopping by , Happy Crafting
